Welcome Autumn!

"There is something new in the air: it´s not only this fresh breeze in the morning, not only this colourful walzer of leaves, not only this wintery light of the morning. Suddenly fall comes and we have to enjoy all the hints of a new autumn" JMG

When you start feeling this fresh breeze in the morning and all around is an amazing show of new colours then summer is over and fall is in the air. I think fall has a particular beauty, maybe it´s not recognizable at first sight cause at the beginning we suffer of the so called „summertime sadness“ and we just miss the holiday feeling. But if you have a deep look into it, Autumn will surprise you.

From my point of view, Autumns is a chilly meditative period, able to calm me down from the all summer movida and able to get me ready for the busy Christmas time. It gives me time to think, to relax and to enjoy small things, like the first cup of chocolate with my best friend, or an interesting wine tour in Italy, or just a relaxing walk among leaves in a colourful forest with my dog. I love to spend time with family and friends for brunch or dinner, having time to enjoy people and reflect on life, on everything I have and I like most, and be grateful about all.

According to the last fashion week, the protagonist is nature and fairytales.

The must haves for this season are: sixties dresses, leather and gold, animalieur fantasy, shearling outerwear, printed matters, optical designs, oversized coat and capes, ponchos, eccentric furs, black feathers. The main colours are green (in many variety), black, gold. The main texture are velvet for the night and confortable wool for the daily time. For the shoes addicted, the are plenty of adorable shoe styles to choose: from the evergreen biker boots to the new chic brogues …., from the classic flat shoes to over-the-knee boots.

And don´t forget the delicious and tasty delights we can have in these months: pumpkins, chestnuts, wine and sweets. In this period I usually love to enjoy small exhibitions, fairs and winefest: there are really good events in which you can taste local specialities, have a little walk in old towns or just enjoy a glass of wine during a Winery Open Day under the weak sun of October.

And what about you?
